Où vous serez

Chalet San Francesco comprises an entrance hall, two bathrooms with showers, one double bedroom (sleeping 2), one bedroom with bunk beds and two single beds (sleeping 4), and a spacious living room featuring a sofa that converts into an extra bed by removing the cushions. The living area includes a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining space, and a seating area (with a sofa and two armchairs) centered around a wood-burning fireplace. The living room opens onto a large 50-square-meter terrace equipped with a charcoal barbecue, a porch swing, two deckchairs, and a table with chairs—perfect for enjoying breakfast or lunch in a relaxing setting. The apartment faces east, making it ideal for soaking up the sun from morning through early afternoon. Use of a garage located beneath the property is included.

The second bathroom is equipped with a macerator toilet. It can only process organic waste and toilet paper; please do not dispose of anything else, as this may cause a blockage. It runs on electricity, so please ensure the plug is not disconnected. There is a washing machine in one of the bathrooms. The primary heating source for the winter is a pellet stove.

possibilités de transport

A key feature of Bardonecchia is its railway station—a rarity for a mountain resort. It also serves as the terminus of the Turin-Bardonecchia motorway and the starting point for the Fréjus Road Tunnel, which connects at Modane to the French Maurienne Valley motorway, linking in turn to France's major highway network. The nearest airport is Turin-Caselle. Various free shuttle services are available, connecting different parts of the town—particularly the railway station and the two main ski lift areas (Campo Smith and Jaffreau).

Voisinage

Hotel San Francesco is located in the heart of Bardonecchia, midway between the main street, Via Medail, and Campo Smith (the departure point for the Colomion-Melezet ski lifts). The Palazzo delle Feste and the tennis courts are just 300 meters away, while crossing Viale Roma leads directly to the Bardonecchia pine forest. Situated in the center of a sunny basin, Bardonecchia serves as a base for accessing ski slopes in winter and the bike park in summer. During peak season, the town sees up to 30,000 daily visitors. Its tourist amenities include traditional restaurants, wine bars, pubs, pizzerias, nightclubs, piano bars, a cinema, and various nightlife venues. Sports facilities—ranging from fields and courts for soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and bocce to indoor sports halls, gyms, fitness centers, and indoor pools—complement the winter sports infrastructure. High-altitude golf courses further enrich the range of available activities. Additionally, the Palazzo delle Feste hosts conferences, music events, theater performances, and shows. Winter sports activities are concentrated in the ski areas managed by Colomion S.p.A. and owned by the French company La Belle Montagne.
